Queers marrying -- so they think. Illegitimate. Illegal.

Originally published at http://www.ultimatewarrior.com/030104.htm   Queers marrying -- so they think. Illegitimate. Illegal.   Here’s what I think.   As a Conservative who believes, first (before anything else), that words mean things -- must mean those concepts they factually represent -- it was refreshing for me to see that some Conservatives had pulled out their dusty dictionaries, using the definition of “marriage” to forward their arguments. Too bad though that these same Conservatives don’t use the same literal standard defining and scrutinizing themselves and what they say they stand for. Most would find -- still deny, not accept -- that they are holding and rationalizing false identities. Conservative, too, has a definition.   Of course, “queer,” too, has its meaning. This is my sole reason for making it my word of choice. Part-time Conservatives don’t. They won’t because it is not p/c. And many will find use of it shocking, even prejudice; never mind ...

The Warrior Diet

Below you will find an exact sample day of my consistent eating habits. What you see below rarely varies. Very rarely . When you practice certain habits for so long, especially healthy lifestyle habits, you assume people, at the very least, know how to differentiate between the good, not so good, not so bad, and the down right bad and ugly foods. It's very vexing to me, even though I think I do take into consideration my long standing relationship with both, exercise and healthy eating. But, I still find it hard to believe people do not know the difference between what is good and what is bad - particularly in today's age. But the purpose of this page is to drive home this very point...THIS IS MY DIET!! THIS IS WHAT I EAT EVERYDAY!! (Give or take a meal which may be substituted with Met-Rx or simply skipped altogether). Maintaining a diet like this is easy - once you get accustomed to it. Until then it can be harder than...well, you get the infer...

Weapons of Wisdom

The story behind my Weapons of Warrior Wisdom. One day, a new art acquaintance was over in my studio and he spotted a big stack of 6×9 pieces of watercolor paper with drawings, quotes and doodles on them. He started going through them and asked me what they were. I told him they were my Weapons of Warrior Wisdom . The name just came out without really thinking about. He couldn’t believe how many there were (hundreds), just sitting there piled up one on top of the other. He said, “Well, whatever you call them, they’re damn good… unique…and inspiring…and you ought to consider making these available for purchase as one way of selling more of your art.  You said you’re not really interested in doing prints of your larger original pieces, and that’s fine, but sell these as originals.” Each Weapon of Warrior Wisdom Art piece is on a 6×9 piece of 400 Series Strathmore cold press Watercolor paper and drawn/colored with Archival Inks that won’t fade. I’ve also framed them — ...

Ultimate Warrior's Training Routine

My off-season routine in the early-mid 1980s was Squats and Deadlifts on Mondays and Thursdays, Chest and Back on Tuesdays and Fridays, and Delts and Arms over the Weekends. At this time I was Incline Benching 495 for 4 reps, Barbell Rowing 405 for 4 Arnold/Haney style and I would clean a 360lb barbell, press it over my head, sit down and press it behind my neck six times. 700lb Squats. On the road in my wrestling peak, I trained seven days a week, sometimes twice a day, fast paced workouts, usually hitting Chest, Delts and Arms every 3rd day, Back and Legs on the other days. In the 1970s on my way up I was using a 20 rep Squat program with pullovers and powerlifting work. Always Believe Warrior
